Born in Tucson, Arizona in 1952, Laurence G. Cripe grew up in a military family, moving frequently across the United States. This diverse upbringing shaped his perspective and curiosity about the world.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, he built a distinguished career in law enforcement, including 22 years with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. He became the first deputy accredited in crash reconstruction by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction
